Free Syria

Stuffed nose, watery eyes, tasteless tongue what else can one manage to acquire with a bed ridden flu? And i just about "managed" to eat dinner, chicken soup tasted like salt, that is all! As i got under the blanket it started raining outside. The lightening and the sound of crazy thunderstorm, i almost jumped. By now you must be wondering if m lost, and what the topic of the subject in hand has to do with flu or the crazy thunderstorm?

The sound of the thunderstorm was so loud i almost felt like this maybe how the people in war ridden nations feel expect that there uncertainties are not comparable. Its only thunderstorm i thought to myself but what about the bombs hitting the innocent people all over the world? My fear just decreased in size for all i know.

Syria has become the political victim of its own tyranny. Power has yet again proven to be misused without boundaries. It is a nightmare to know what we know, see what we see and all we can do it just watch as it unfolds into more horrifying realities. As i feared the lightening would hit my house, i wondered if this is what it might feel like to wait for your house to be bombed next. I know, this is ridiculous a comparison but how uncertainty can be horrifying. If you didn't know where your next meal would come from, if you didn't know you were going to wake up alive tomorrow, whether it'd be painful.....No living beings should feel that way.

It brings me much remorse that we sit and watch, we watch and talk. I am here not trying to bombard about what is going on in Syria but "free Syria" is a phrase i would like each and every one of us to feel and relate to; to relate with the people of those nations forbidden of freedom and livelihood that matters to us all.

Keeping your family and friends safe from harms way,

Being able to protect what is yours,

Rights that can be exercised,

Eyes that see fairness and

Nation builders without prejudice

Is that much to ask for? Can we all solemnly hope and pray for all of those people and nations in need of miracles so big, it is frightening, that they too shall know peace.

I agree with you that it must be so terrifying to be in Syria right now with all the needless and horrible carnage taking place. While we are tucked safely in our beds at night more people are dying in the streets. Yes...let's hope and pray that peace will prevail and this nightmare will soon end.

If we had a magic wand, between you and me, we would have a peaceful planet. Wouldn't that be nice!
